The Complete Vessel Management Solution

We operate 3rd party ‘owned’ vessels in exactly the same way that we manage our own ‘owned’ vessels.

Crewing

Officers will be provided by Fletcher Shipping (Guernsey) limited, and will be British and European all being experienced professionals.

Deck crew will be provided by Promarinha and will be experienced Portuguese deckhands.

Each deck officer receives a copy of our Ship-handling Record Book, and we endeavour to train our deck officers from 2nd Mates onwards in ship-handling skills.

This ship-handling is based on working the vessel in varying sea-state conditions for a number of hours. An independent Ship-handling Assessor will sail with the vessel and witness the ship-handling skills of the Officer, giving the assurance and comfort to us and our Clients that our officers are all trained and experienced.

Management

The vessels will be operated on a ‘self-managed’ basis. This simplifies the operation of the ship as purchase orders are raised directly on-board the vessel and automatically replicated in the office via internet based software. Our Master and Officers therefore no longer have to wait for authorisation from the office, which can often cause delays and frustration, especially during ‘out of office’ hours. This method of working has resulted in a sense of ownership and pride, with the added bonus of having a well maintained and well run ship.

Technical

The vessels will be operated with ‘TM Master’ a planned Maintenance System on-board, with real-time overview available in our Aberdeen office. In addition we will also carry our condition monitoring and vibration analysis.

The vessels are visited weekly with visit reports circulated to give comfort to our Clients that the vessel remains in an excellent condition.
