We, at ‘Fletcher’, believe that our experience, skill and reputation that we have developed over many years working with the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector is not only transferable to the Offshore Renewables sector but brings a ‘highly’ disciplined and regulated management structure to an emerging market giving confidence to potential new customers in this market sector.
Our vessels are British flagged and self-managed with largely UK, and all EU, content meeting the requirements of the UK Offshore Renewable requirement. Our vessels are experienced in operating the harsh conditions of the North Sea on a 24 hour/365 day basis. Our vessels not only have a large deck area which is suitable for multi-use and conversion, but they have excellent station-keeping capabilities and 100% redundancy.
As well as large deck and excellent station-keeping, our vessels have a maximum draft of 4.5m allowing access into most commercial ports, and are ideal for working in shallow waters. The FS Pegasus is currently employed on the ‘Rampion’ windfarm off the South Coast of England, working out of the Port of Shoreham.
The vessel is providing sea-bed survey and debris removal, using a diver-less multi-tool ROV system. The system can remove debris and survey the areas I one operation with the results being recorded on board. The vessel can also provide logistics support to the ‘in-field’ construction vessels – providing containerised consumables, and bunkering of fuel and water.
The sub-bottom imager (SBI) uses advanced acoustics to provide real-time view of the seabed in full 3D, as a continuous longitudinal path measuring 5 m wide by 5m depth of sea bed penetration.
Zodiac TT →Deployed by a 15 tonne ‘Active heave Compensated Winch’ and with a through frame lift capability, the Zodiac TT is capable of carrying out heavy lift operations using a series of hydraulic tools, whilst surveying and video recording at the same time.
Boulder Clearing Case Study →Combining with any one of our DP Multi-role vessels with our Zodiac TT ROV, provides the offshore industry with one of the most capable and cost effective ‘one stop’ diver-less operations currently on the market. With the One Vessel – One Tool – One Stop operation, we can carry out Sea-bed and sub-bottom surveys, sea-bed clearance, sub-bottom excavation, UXO identification and removal, cable/pipeline identification and cable repairs.
Zodiac TT →We have been successful in supporting a maintenance programme of an Offshore installation. The FS Pisces was chartered for supply/support operations, but in addition was used to transfer offshore personnel required for the maintenance shutdown.
Walk-2-Work Case Study →Large underdeck capacity and excellent station-keeping capability allows us the opportunity to offer clients the services of delivering fuel and water to vessels at sea. This reduces the downtime and costs for vessels having to return to port. This service is also complimented by the delivery of ship stores as the same time. Our vessels have the capability of delivery circa 2,000 m3 of fuel oil, after a dispensation being granted by both ‘Flag’ and ‘Class’ for the carriage of MGO in our noxious liquid cargo tanks.
Offshore Bunkering Case Study →When it comes to providing specialist services to the offshore maritime sector, we have decades of experience in the industry, providing expert advice, helping our Clients deliver a better service, improving efficiency and assisting in making the work-place as safe as possible for the Company, its’ clients and staff.
